Meet Taylor

Taylor Perry, formerly Taylor Hagan, graduated from Navasota High School as Valedictorian. She went on to Texas A&M University, graduating in 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus in Public Relations. Her studies emphasized government, policy, communication, leadership, and strategic public engagement, which provided a strong foundation for both community leadership and public administration.

Community Service

Whether it's coaching Little League, or volunteering at the Food Drive, Taylor is involved in her community in ways that impact children and families.

Professional Experience

Taylor's professional experience directly aligns with the responsibilities required of a County Commissioner. Her career includes over 15 years in banking, treasury management, risk mitigation, operational leadership, and fiscal oversight, and fully prepares her for the annual budget process each year. Her history of building strong relationships with businesses and community stakeholders will enable her to work well with peers, and represent the interests of Grimes County residents.

Currently, Taylor serves as a Cash Management Advisor with JPMorgan Chase & Co., advising companies ranging from a few million dollars in annual revenue to businesses generating more than $35 million annually. Her work helps businesses strengthen their financial position while improving scalability and long-term sustainability.

Her background includes leadership roles in retail and commercial banking, implementation management, and operational oversight. She has managed teams, overseen large-scale implementation projects, analyzed financial and operational data, monitored compliance standards, and developed strategies that improved both organizational performance and client satisfaction.

AI and Cybersecurity Training

Taylor is uniquely qualified to serve as Grimes County Commissioner, Precinct 4, during this time of rapid technological change. Her background includes expertise in emerging technologies, cyber risk, operational security, and modern business infrastructure. In addition to her financial expertise, she has also completed certification programs in Artificial Intelligence through Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cybersecurity Risk Management through Harvard University.

As a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), she has expanded her understanding of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, fraud prevention, infrastructure protection, and risk mitigation strategies.

Currently, Taylor is pursuing a Master’s degree in Cyberterrorism, further studying cybersecurity policy, critical infrastructure protection, cyber warfare, digital threats, and national security implications tied to technology and public systems.
